Will this product help me reach ketosis if I am not doing a keto diet?

No, these drops will not bring you into ketosis. They were formulated to support those already living a keto lifestyle. To clarify, ketosis is a normal metabolic state wherein the body turns fat stores into energy, especially when it hasn’t received enough carbohydrates from food to turn into energy. BHB is the predominant ketone produced when your body has reached ketosis, and these BHB drops can be an important supplemental energy source for those living a keto lifestyle.

I’m going to lose weight taking these, right?

Not necessarily! Supplementing with BHB when you are not living a keto lifestyle might actually lead to weight gain! BHB is an energy source, just like food. So if your diet and habits haven't changed, and you begin taking BHB, your body won't be using fat stores for energy (the object of Ketosis), but rather storing more from the excess input. This product is best used to support the transition into ketosis, and aid those already in ketosis.

What do these drops taste like?

Because these ketones are ketone salts, they are attached to minerals—specifically magnesium, calcium and sodium—they taste salty, with a hint of lemon-lime. (It might even remind you of a (non-alcoholic) margarita!) If you don’t find the taste very palatable, it can be diluted with water. We’d recommend adding 1 serving size to 6-8oz of water.
