Megadose Zinc

I love Mary Ruth products. However, the first delivery I received of this mega zinc was out of date. Once I reached out, a replacement was immediately sent to me. To me the product tastes like the plastic it's in. I thought originally it was because of the past date, then the replacement product tasted similar. I would not reorder this one but would consider the other zinc products.

First of all, this product took over 2 and a half months to be shipped to me. I originally chose to do a subscription and by the time a new bottle was going to be sent, I still had not received the first one, despite being charged for it. I had to call customer service and she said she would expedite the shipping, however it still took over 2 weeks to receive it. Once I received it, I realized that the consistency and flavor was absolutely horrible. I wish there was a better description of what the product was on the website. I have since canceled my subscription for this product. Extremely disappointed.

What is Zinc in liposomal form?

Liposomes are tiny spherical structures, with a protective outer layer and an inner cavity, to hold and transport substances such as vitamins, drugs, or other nutrients to the body. In this supplement, Zinc is encapsulated into nano-sized micelles which are then enveloped into liposomes for enhanced absorption! This liposomal structure allows for the Zinc to be absorbed more efficiently by the gut.

Megadosing is a term to describe taking doses well over the regular daily recommended dosage of a vitamin. Limited studies have shown benefits to megadosing with specific vitamins and minerals but we always recommend that everyone check with their physician or healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness supplement to make sure the supplement is suitable for their health.
