The individual amounts of each botanical in the botanical blend are proprietary, so the dry herb amount in our botanical blends accounts for all the dry herbs of the proprietary blend. Each serving (1 mL) contains 1.2 g (1200 mg) Organic Proprietary Blend Extract, with a Dry Herb to Menstruum Ratio of 1:16 (approx. 61 mg dry herb equivalent per 1 mL).

While the exact process is proprietary, we are happy to share a few details on how our unique line of alcohol free glycerites are made. Our herbals start by using dried, cut, and sifted botanical ingredients. These raw materials are then added to glycerin and steeped for varying amounts of time depending on the material. The mixture is then pressed and filtered so that all solid plant material is removed before the glycerin extraction is bottled with water. We follow this same process with our herbal blends as well by steeping the entire blend together rather than mixing completed extracts. The process can be compared to steeping a tea bag in a cup of water. When drinking tea, you are not drinking the tea leaves, but rather what has been extracted in the menstruum (in the example of tea, menstruum is water). More tea leaves will result in stronger tea, for example: 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water will result in a weaker tea than 2 teaspoons of tea per 8 oz of water. This amount (i.e. how much tea to amount of water), is called the ratio and is similar to how our herbals are formulated.
