Disappointing after 2 years of great gummies not even worth the one star

I’m letting you know that I cancelled my subscription for these and out looking for a substitute. I loved these K2 with D3 gummies but recently you changed them and they are horrible. The taste the smell I can’t take these such a shame. The pic with blue cap is the great one and the pic with the white cap horrible one.I hope that you realized by changing these was not a good idea and if you go back to the original flavor and shape I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

New formula is yucky

Like the other customers who recently received the new products with new shapes and new cap, I’m also super disappointed at the strong plastic-like smell. It makes me feel like I’m eating chemicals. I don’t think I will continue ordering if this stays, which is disappointing because my kids’ had enjoyed these gummies before the change.

Horrible product change!

My kids have loved this vitamin for 2 years, but the recent change has us switching to something new. My kids say it tastes sour, and the new shape is hard, actually making it tough for my 2 year old to chew. It also smells like chemicals when you open the bottle. Will not be buying again, bummed the product changed!

Disappointing change & Rancid smell

I have been enjoying these K2 & D3 Gummies for months now (I am terrible at remembering vitamins because I have trouble swallowing and just don’t want to take pills, but gummies make it enjoyable), but my most recent order is not the same. The cap is no longer blue, but white and the shape is now a circle blob rather than a heart. The worst part is the smell. Opening the bottle, it smells like the oils have gone bad (is that the Vitamin D itself?), and the flavor is not the same - it tastes like the smell on the outside and then is more tart than the previous heart shaped version. I still have the bottle I just finished off, and it smells delicious compared to the new one. I’m wondering if these did turn somehow and if I should not be eating them? Might be switching back to the dreaded pills…

Where do you source your K2 and D3?

Our D3 is sourced from wild-crafted, non-GMO, vegan Lichen. We derive our K2 from Natto, a fermented soybean product which is a traditional Japanese food and the highest food source of natural K2. The process of fermentation and extraction removes soy from the product. Please read the 5-step process, from the supplier, regarding the fermentation to a soy-free Natto. Step 1: Infusion of Non-GMO Soybeans, purified water and Natto strains of K2. Step 2: Automated control of fermentation, with 16 fermentation parameters that are fully controlled through the automated system. Step 3: After 24 hours of fermentation, we gain highly reactive raw material that the Natto strains release; NattoZyme™ and Extra NattoK2™. Step 4: High speed of centrifuge, this rids of impurities thoroughly to ensure highly active feature of raw materials. Step 5: Ceramic Membrane: This process rids the fermented raw materials of any bacteria and/or impurities.

Why is there no daily value for Vitamin K on the supplement fact panel?

"The preamble to the proposed rule noted that there are three general forms of vitamin K: Phylloquinone (vitamin K1), menaquinone (vitamin K2), and menadione (vitamin K3) (id.). For labeling purposes, there is no specific definition for vitamin K and the AI for vitamin K is based on the intake of phylloquinone, the major form of vitamin K in the diet. Thus, the final rule establishes, in § 101.9(c)(8)(iv), an RDI for vitamin K of 120 mcg based on the AI that pertains only to phylloquinone." The FDA determined to change this because they do not believe that studies on menaquinone provide sufficient evidence to suggest that menaquinones affect vitamin K absorption and utilization.
