I’ve had low Vitamin D for a while now and bought this to see if it’ll help. Can’t say too much about it just yet since I just got it but the 3 stars are for the taste. It taste very good to me! Liposomes are tiny spherical structures, with a protective outer layer and an inner cavity, to hold and transport substances such as vitamins, drugs, or other nutrients to the body; in this supplement, Vitamin D3 is encapsulated into nano-sized micelles, then enveloped into liposomes for enhanced absorption! This liposomal structure allows for the Vitamin D3 to be absorbed more efficiently by the gut.

What is the lifespan of this liposomal product?

The shelf life for our Megadose D3 Liposomal is 12 months, when stored in a cool, dry place (preferably refrigerated), away from oxygen and moisture in its sealed container. Once open and, if kept refrigerated, the shelf life is six months.

Why does this liposomal bottle feel so light? 

Due to shortages in our supplier network, our first run of our Megadose D3 Liposomal provides a 30 day supply of 1 teaspoon (5 mL) servings. As the bottle itself can hold up to 8 oz, you may notice some airspace as this product’s total product weight is 5.1 oz. Future batches will be filled to 7.6 fl oz, and contain 45 servings to more appropriately match the container size.
