So I loved the way these tasted. I loved that they were sugar-free and I thought they helped me fall asleep quickly.
However, I’ve been getting a lot of blood work done recently and the other day might B6 levels came back. They were through the roof high. Like toxicity level high. And too much, B6 can cause permanent nerve damage. I looked through all of my supplements all of the foods that I eat, trying to figure out where I was getting such high amounts of B6. That’s when I noticed that these Gummies have 40 mg of B6. I started taking these gummies 13 days before my blood test. I’m positive this is what sent my blood test results through the roof. There is absolutely no need for any supplement or vitamin or gummy to be putting 40 mg of B6 when the daily need is 1.7 mg. I’m scared to think about what would’ve happened had I not gotten a blood test. I’ve been having to deal with a lot of health stuff lately and now on top of that I have to stop taking all B6 for the next month until I can get my levels back down. Needless to say, I threw out these Gummies. It’s really too bad because like I said they tasted great. I loved that they didn’t contain gelatin or sugar. I normally love Mary Ruth Products.
