Cherry Pumpkin Seeds Bites
Bedtime snack anyone? Instead of a sugary treat that will spike your blood sugar before hitting the sheets, MaryRuth’s Cherry Pumpkin SeedZzzs Bites is a one-pan recipe that uses a natural secret ingredient to sweeten it––monk fruit.
Additionally, pumpkin seeds are a known source of tryptophan (the same chemical in turkey!) which is necessary to help make serotonin and support a healthy night’s sleep.
And the cherry on top of eating cherries? They contain melatonin, which studies have shown can help with increased sleep time and overall sleep efficiency. Here’s to a yummy, pre-bedtime snack!

Cherry Pumpkin Seedzzz Bites Recipe
Sleep soundly with this delicious, pre-bedtime snack!
Ingredients:
1. 1 teaspoon monk fruit
2. 1 cup of dates
3. 1/4 cup of cashews
4. 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
5. 1/2 cup dried cherries
6. 2 tablespoons of almond flour
7. 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Roughly chop and/or mix all ingredients in a blender to a consistency you like.
2. Pour into a 6x6 or 8x8 pan lined with parchment or into a silicone baking dish, molding it with your hand.
3. Let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Cut into small squares & enjoy!
