The 7-in-1 Immune Support Liposomal has a dose (1 TBSP) recommended for the adult population, and because some of the ingredients —such as zinc and vitamin D3— are "megadoses" (in other words, in a higher range of the Food and Drug Administration’s recommendations for daily intake), we opted to not include dosing for children. It is also worth noting, this product contains botanicals — ginger, echinacea and elderberry — that have no established recommendations for daily intake and limited safety data. Ultimately, in order to make the best health decisions possible for your children, we recommend speaking with your pediatrician, physician, or healthcare professional to help you determine if the product is appropriate for your child or children, and what the best dose may be.

Liposomes are tiny spherical structures, with a protective outer layer and an inner cavity, to hold and transport substances such as vitamins, drugs, or other nutrients to the body. In this supplement, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, zinc, elderberry, Echinacea purpurea Root Extract, and ginger are encapsulated into nano-sized micelles which are then enveloped into liposomes for enhanced absorption! This liposomal structure allows for the vitamins, minerals, and botanicals to be absorbed more efficiently by the gut.

While the vitamins in this formula are known for their antioxidant and immune-supporting properties, and while supplying your body with adequate essential vitamins and minerals on a regular basis is important for overall health, there is no conclusive evidence that this supplement on its own can cure sickness. We recommend speaking with your physician or healthcare professional for their additional guidance!

Since there is no specified Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) or established Daily Value (DV) for elderberries, you will find that different elderberry supplements on the market vary greatly in their recommended doses. The elderberry content of this product is 800 mg per serving, which is on the higher end of many elderberry products available on the market.

The shelf life for our 7-in-1 Immunity Support Liposomal is 18 months, when stored in a cool, dry place (preferably refrigerated), away from oxygen and moisture in its sealed container. Once open and, if kept refrigerated, the shelf life is six months.
