Your Questions, Answered

Adaptogenic herbs are aptly described by their name, as they assist the body in adapting to different stressors, and support the body’s ability to maintain its natural homeostasis.

Neuroprotective refers to the preservation of neuronal structure and brain health. Phytochemicals from medicinal plants with these properties play an important part in the brain’s maintenance of chemical balance, influencing neurotransmitters and aiding in the preservation of neuronal structure and function.

A traditional use herb is one with historical usage, dating back as far as thousands of years. Some of these uses may have scientific studies to prove their traditional claims, while others may lack adequate data.

While this is a proprietary blend (and thus we cannot disclose the amounts of Asian Ginseng in the product), this is also just a difficult question to answer! Most of our herbal products are glycerites, which means that the botanicals are steeped in glycerin to extract the beneficial constituents and compounds contained in the botanical(s). Rather than thinking of it like a recipe, where a certain amount of x is added to y, it may be easier to think of it like a tea bag steeped in hot water. The tea it produces doesn't contain what was contained in the tea bag (otherwise you're drinking small bits of whatever was in your tea bag!), but the steeping process pulls flavors, aromatics, and various compounds from the bag of tea. The process of creating a glycerite herbal product is similar to this!
