Vegan Pumpkin Butter

Recently, one of our customer care team leaders, Kay, shared this recipe that she created at home. And as we head further into fall, it couldn’t be more in season! 


Try this easy recipe out for yourself, and maybe even pair it on toast with MaryRuth’s raspberry apple peel jam

Vegan Pumpkin Butter

A fun and festive fall spreadable snack!



  • 1 Can Pumpkin Purée
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Lemon, Juiced (Approx. 1oz)
  • 1/2 Tsp Pumpkin Spice
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • Dash of Clove (To Taste)



    1. Pour all ingredients into a pot on the stove and stir.
    2. Cook on low for 15-20 minutes. Stir frequently.

    TIP: Super important to stir often so the maple syrup doesn’t burn. Cooking this low and slow is the way to go!

    1. Let cool and pour into a jar.
    2. ENJOY!
