GET STARTEDYou care about what goes in your body and what you give to your loved ones — and so do we. That’s why here at MaryRuth’s, we hold the highest standards and go beyond the basic required certifications to have our products third-party tested for purity.
We’re all about trust and transparency, and that’s why we do proactive testing of our incoming ingredients. Because we don’t want you to just take our word for it, we've enlisted the help of third-party organization Clean Label Project® to make sure we stay true to our word and randomly sample and test our products.
As a Clean Label Project-certified brand, over 130 of our products have been tested and screened for over 200 industrial environmental contaminants & toxins — including heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers.
The Clean Label Project is a national non-profit that uses data and science to blind test products for a list of hundreds of toxins and contaminants, including heavy metals, antibiotics, BPA/BPS (plasticizers), and pesticide-residues that are not identified on labels but are prevalent in food and consumer products.
While MaryRuth’s always adheres to all FDA regulations for supplements, it’s not enough just to be compliant with government regulations. We aim to do more than the bare minimum — and that’s why we’re proactively and voluntarily receiving Clean Label Project certifications for most of our products.
We believe in the mission of Clean Label Project, and, considering the realities of societal choices around mining, fracking, and industrial agriculture, we want to do our part to make sure we are making clean and pure products!
What does MaryRuth’s being Clean Label Project certified mean? This verifies that our products have been independently tested for over 200 industrial environmental contaminants & toxins!
We’re talking heavy metals, arsenic, lead, mercury, pesticides (including glyphosate - the active ingredient in RoundUp), and plastics (BPA, BPS, and phthalates).
And, after initial testing for certification, the products undergo random annual testing to make sure they’re being held to the same standards on an ongoing basis.
We’re continuously getting more of our product line third-party tested and certified by Clean Label Project. Discover all of these products now!
