Our Organic Vitamin C Liquid Drops come from organic acerola fruit extract, which has been found to contain higher levels of Vitamin C than citrus fruits.

Vitamin C’s antioxidant properties are vital for your body, limiting the damage done by free radicals while supporting immune function and overall well-being.

As an essential cofactor in the synthesis of collagen — a vital protein for the health of multiple parts of the body including blood vessels, bones, and skin —  Vitamin C is a must to maintain health.

Vitamin C also helps with the absorption of iron, so supplementing your intake of this vitamin may have additional benefits depending on your other vitamin and mineral needs!

How to take

Suggested Use: This product was made for ages 4 and up. Shake well before use. Take directly by mouth or add to juice. Use the following chart to assess dosage.  

Please avoid direct dropper contact to the skin or mouth in order to prevent product contamination and damage to the dropper. 

Dosage chart for Vitamin C, Based on Recommended Dietary Allowances, established by the Institute of Medicine, Food and Nutrition Board: 

  • 4-8 Years Male: 25 mg = 33 drops
  • Female: 25 mg = 33 drops
  • 9-13 Years Male: 45 mg = 60 drops
  • Female: 45 mg = 60 drops
  • 14-18 Years Male: 75 mg = 100 drops
  • Female: 65 mg = 87 drops
  • Pregnancy: 80 mg = 107 drops
  • Lactation: 115 mg = 153 drops
  • 19+ Years Male: 90 mg = 120 drops
  • Female: 75 mg = 100 drops
  • Pregnancy: 85 mg = 113 drops
  • Lactation: 120 mg = 160 drops 

1 pump typically fills the dropper about ½ of the way.

Will these Vitamin C drops help me if I am sick?

Vitamin C is well-known for its antioxidant properties, and while supplying your body with adequate Vitamin C on a regular basis is important for overall health, there is no conclusive evidence that Vitamin C on its own can cure a sickness. Ultimately, as an essential nutrient, Vitamin C is a necessary part of your diet regardless of how you feel.

Are the Vitamin C drops safe for kids?

Our Vitamin C Liquid Drops are suggested for ages 4 and up, based on the FDA’s recommended intake of 90 mg Vitamin C daily. For the sake of labeling simplicity, the FDA’s Daily Value recommendations groups children 4+ with adults; however, the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs) for Vitamin C, established by the Institute of Medicine: Food and Nutrition Board, offers a more granular breakdown of RDAs, broken down further by age and gender. You can view those RDAs on the National Institutes of Health fact sheet for Vitamin C. Since our product is liquid, the dose can easily be adjusted to meet those recommendations (we’ve even done the calculations for you! Check out the dosage chart in the images or under the tab “Ingredients & Use”). Ultimately, in order to make the best health decisions possible for your little one, we recommend speaking with your pediatrician, physician, or healthcare professional to best determine what dose is best for your child.
