Benefits

*EPA and DHA support healthy cell membranes and promote healthy blood flow, which is essential to healthy cognition, optimal brain function and memory retention.

Using a chemical-free extraction of omegas from the algae, the final result is a solvent-free and plant-based liquid omega!

These liquid omega-3 drops primarily contain DHA, or docosahexaenoic acid.

Some studies have concluded that DHA is optimal for normal neural and visual development in infants, and that providing your baby with adequate Omega-3 supports brain and cognition.

Our vegan Omega-3 Liquid Drops for Infants and Toddlers are derived from an ocean-friendly, wild strain of sustainably-grown micro-algae.

These drops may be a great addition for your child’s diet, particularly since many U.S. toddlers consume well below the amounts of DHA & EPA recommended in other countries (the U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not have a recommended intake amount).

Simply add the appropriate dosage to your baby or toddler’s favorite food or drink, or give them these liquid drops on their own.

Support your child’s health by supplying these important fatty acids.

We also have Liquid Omega-3 Drops formulated for Prenatal & Postnatal & for Ages 4+!

How To Take

Suggested Use: Shake gently before use. This product was formulated for infants & toddlers, ages 6 months to 3-years-old. Once daily, add up to 1 mL to your child’s food or drink. Please avoid direct dropper contact to the skin or mouth in order to prevent product contamination and damage to the dropper. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Store in a cool, dry place.

To help preserve the flavor of the oil, we recommend refrigeration after opening.

Your Questions, Answered

Each 1 mL serving contains 378 mg of Algal Oil, which contains 208 mg of Omega-3s, with a breakdown of 200 mg of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and 2 mg of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).

While many omega supplements use cod liver oil or another fishy source, our vegan Omega-3 Liquid Drops are sourced from Algal oil, which is derived from an ocean-friendly, wild strain of sustainably-grown micro-algae.

The sunflower oil & sunflower lecithin in our Omega-3 Liquid Drops is used as a carrier for the antioxidants (Rosemary Extract, Vitamin C Palmitate, Mixed Tocopherols) which we add to the oil to stabilize the ingredient.

It is true that there are no FDA recommendations for daily intake of Omega-3s, which makes it hard to know what an appropriate dose might be! Recommendations from health organizations for daily intake vary from 500-700 mg Omega-3 for ages 6 Months-3 years. For Omega-3’s in general, RDAs are only recommended in the form of ALA for ages 1 and up, since this form of Omega-3 can convert to EPA & DHA in vitro. (See chart below). Dosage chart for Omega-3, Based on Recommended Daily Allowances, established by the Institute of Medicine, Food and Nutrition Board: Ages 6 Months-12 Months*: 0.5 g Ages 1-3 Years**: 0.7 g *As total Omega-3 **As ALA. For ages 1 and older, the AIs apply only to ALA because it is the only Omega-3 considered essential. There is currently no specific recommended intake for EPA, DHA, or other LC omega-3s. Our Omega-3 Liquid Drops are primarily DHA with EPA. Ultimately, in order to make the best health decisions possible for your little one, we recommend speaking with your pediatrician, physician, or healthcare professional to best determine what is best for your child.
