How to take

This liposomal structure allows for the vitamin C to be absorbed more efficiently by the gut.
Why take a megadose of vitamin C?
Megadosing is a term to describe taking doses well over the regular daily recommended dosage of a vitamin. Limited studies have shown benefits to megadosing with specific vitamins and minerals but we always recommend that everyone check with their physician or healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness supplement to make sure the supplement is suitable for their health.
Is this product safe for children?
As this product is a megadose — which is a term to describe taking doses well over the regular daily recommended dosage of a vitamin — this product may not be suitable for children. One serving (½ TBSP) of this product provides 500 mg vitamin C, which is 556% DV for ages 4+. While limited studies have shown benefits to megadosing with specific vitamins and minerals, this also means that the vitamin C content is much higher than the FDA's recommended daily value. We recommend speaking with your child's physician or healthcare professional to determine if this product is right for your child.
I’ve heard that I can make my own liposomal vitamin C at home. Why should I buy this one instead?
If you search online, you may come across various “recipes” that describe how to make liposomal vitamin C at home, most of which use a jewelry cleaner to make the emulsion. Though you may choose to go this route if you so wish, there is a higher risk for possible contamination, and cleanliness may not be held to the highest standards when creating a DIY liposomal. Another thing to consider if you create your own liposomal vitamin C at home is that the size of the micelles are not standardized, and the exact concentration of vitamin C in the creation will not be measured.
