GET STARTEDAs you prepare for the back-to-school season, are you ready to return to your typical school day routine?
Or maybe you don’t have a regular routine yet and are looking to establish some healthy habits.
Either way, we’re hoping to inspire you and your mornings by sharing MaryRuth’s back-to-school morning routine!
We asked MaryRuth what a typical school day morning looks like for her, and she has shared her time blocking with us below.
5:45: Wake up, put on workout clothes, wash face & brush teeth
6:00: Put in a load of laundry, go downstairs, get water and vitamins
6:15: Lay out all the kid's vitamins, play with them, stretch
6:30: Make breakfast & celery juice
7:00: Feed the kids their breakfast, celery juice & vitamins while packing lunches
7:05: Go for a walk down the hill and back up, get sunshine
7:20: Take a shower & get changed
7:45: Drive the kids to school
8:15: Get home & start work
MaryRuth notes, “I’m blessed to have my mom to watch the kids while I go for a walk in the morning. People can potentially ask their partner to watch them before they do the school drop off, but it doesn't always work.”
Ultimately, you have to be realistic about what works for your schedule. But trying to fit in some sunlight, stretching, movement, and even taking your vitamins whenever you can is always worth it, even if you only have five minutes. That’s why MaryRuth also stretches while playing with her children if she’s able!
“Some parents will just have to go to school, drop off, and then come back and then potentially go for the walk or run,” MaryRuth says.
And these micro healthy habits aren’t only for you — you can find ways to incorporate small moments of wellness for your children, too!
“Jacob and Elliot like celery juice, but Grace and Ethan do not so they only have 1 ounce,” MaryRuth explains. But one thing all of the kids love? Their vitamins!
All four of MaryRuth’s children take either the Liquid Morning Multivitamin or Kids Multivitamin Gummies in the morning, along with Organic Toddler Iron Liquid Drops, Organic Liquid Probiotic and Omega 3-6-7-9 Gummies.
You can also find MaryRuth’s go-to vitamin routine for herself here!
(After school, each child also takes a serving of our Sugar-Free Immunity Gummies as well as the Super Greens Gummies) and Kid’s Fiber Gummies).
You can get MaryRuth’s celery juice recipe to try here (with or without the liquid probiotic added) if you’d like to incorporate this beverage into your mornings, along with a quality multivitamin!
