5 Healthy After-School Snacks For Kids

Hungry kids often come home from school wanting a snack. We've got ideas to help you stay stocked and mix things up whenever you land in a snack rut.

Whether you have kids in preschool or kindergarten, or older ones in elementary and middle school, our easy after-school snacks will help you keep them satisfied until dinner—no matter what the afternoon may hold for your family!

Guac-A-Broccoli

There's nothing better than a bowl of chips and guacamole! But add a healthy twist – broccoli! Sneak a little iron and calcium into your child's snack with this delicious recipe that pairs great with corn chips or a slice of toast.

Nut/Seed Butter + Banana

An oldie, but goodie! Just slice up a banana and scoop your favorite nut or seed butter on top for a snack that hits every macro – carbs, fats, and proteins.

Watermelon Poke

Flavor, fruit, and sustainability all in one dish. Throw all these ingredients together into a bowl, drizzle a little marinate & ensure your child gets essential nutrients (think: Vitamin A and C) from this veggie & fruit-packed dish they need!

Toast with Jam and Fruit

Top a slice of toasted whole grain bread with a delicious jam (like our Raspberry Apple Peel Jam!) and serve with a side of fruit. You can even pair it with one of our Organic Kids Probiotic Gummies to support digestive, immune and gut health.

Choco Root Beer Float

Try this healthy Choco Root Beer Float made with our USDA Certified Organic Protein Powder, made with non-GMO pumpkin seed protein and fair trade chocolate.
